Buhari's Medical Checkup Building Under Attack (See Pictures)

The country is in turmoil and worse of it all it happens at this time that Buhari is in London

for medical checkup. Nigerian hospitals are on strike. Nigerian pyrotechnics are also on strike and incidences of unknown gun men attacks are alarming everyday especially in the southeast region of the country.

There have been issues in the system which are calling for President Buhari to address but he has invariably failed to do so. Now that he is in the London and Nigerian doctors have downed tools, what becomes the fate of Nigerians who do not have the means of flying outside the country as he has done?

This is the question Nigerians are asking.

Nigerian medical experts have called for improvement of the health system but Nigerian government has paid deaf ears to the plea of the medical specialists. The facilities in the UK hospitals which are appealing to the president can also be in Nigerian hospitals, that is if only Nigerian Government have made possible these things.

In London, those things didn' t just fixes themselves, they were made available by their government. If Buhari do same in Nigeria, this he will end his medical tourism outside the country. But for now, the doctors have downed tools but Buhari is in London enjoying health facilities put in place by a president like him.

Also, the judiciary is on lockdown. Administrative of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) were said to have chased judges and other lawyers out of a certain court in Lagos, calling for adherence with the strike action embarked on by members of the union. The judiciary is also having unresolved issues with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria.

State Houses of Assembly have been shut down for over a week by executives of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN). For over, state houses of assembly could not sit for their deliberations. It is a show of the failure of government in Nigeria.

In the midst of all these, President Muhammadu Buhari is receiving treatment in another country. He has no response for Nigeria and the country men and women are patiently waiting. Nigeria is yet to get a saviour. Buhari came into power in 2015 with a promise to change the system but very, unfortunately, the system is getting worse by the day or is this the change he promised, from good to worse?
